How do I turn Junkless on?
Open Settings › Apps › Messages › Unknown & Spam › SMS Filtering and choose Junkless. Open the Junkless app once first so iOS knows about it.
Why do I still get some spam?
iOS only shows filter apps texts from unknown senders. Messages from contacts, from numbers you've replied to, and iMessages are never checked. If a message looks unclear to the model, Junkless lets iOS decide rather than risk hiding a real text.
Filtering stopped after an iOS update. What do I do?
Open Settings › Apps › Messages › Unknown & Spam › SMS Filtering and select Junkless again. Updates and reinstalling the app occasionally reset this choice. Junkless can send you a monthly reminder to check.
Will I miss verification codes?
No. Anything that looks like a verification or security code is treated as a transaction and delivered, even if the rest of the message looks suspicious.
Can Junkless read my messages?
Only the filter part of the app, on your iPhone, and only new texts from unknown senders. Message text is not stored and not sent to us. The one exception is optional: if you turn on Help improve the filter, you can share a message when you report it, masked on your iPhone first. You can also delete everything our server holds about your device in Junkless › Settings.
Where do filtered texts go?
Open Messages, tap Filters and choose Junk. Transactions and Promotions have their own filters too.
Why can't Junkless move a message that already arrived?
iOS only lets filter apps decide when a message arrives. To handle future messages from that sender, use Mark a sender in the app or report the message.
What happens when I report a message?
iOS deletes the reported message after you tap Done; that is how reporting works in Messages. Your choice is encrypted on your iPhone and only your device can read it back to create a rule. To keep the message, mark the sender inside Junkless instead.
What is Under attack mode?
If you are being flooded with texts, turn it on to send everything from unknown numbers to Junk for 10 minutes to 7 days. Your trusted senders still get through.
What do Pro and Family add?
Pro is about staying current: the scam database updates every day, and instantly when a new scam wave starts; unlimited rules; schedules that send everything from unknown numbers to Junk at chosen hours; and your rules on all your devices through iCloud. The free plan still filters completely: the on-device AI model, the proactive filter, verification-code protection, reporting, testing with AI explanations and Under attack mode. Free copies of the scam database refresh once a month and with every app update, and you can earn an extra update each week by reporting 10 spam messages. A Family plan shares Pro with up to 5 family members through Apple Family Sharing.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Junkless. Subscriptions are handled by Apple.
Which languages does Junkless understand?
The app and the filter are built for English, Turkish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese. Rules work in any language.
